CA$5,429 in five Black Friday days without deeper discounts.
revenue in 5 days

open rate, 10% click rate

The starting point
The client wanted more Black Friday revenue without cutting deeper into margins. Like most brands, their plan was campaign-heavy, which left the spike in checkout abandonment during peak traffic mostly uncaptured.
What we built
- Trigger: added to cart or started checkout in the last 30 days, filtered to the core product category
- Message: “We saved your cart”, a clear Nov 30 deadline and the shopper’s own savings, written to complete a decision rather than re-sell the product
- A minimum spend of $189 instead of a blanket discount, which lifted order value and protected margin
- The offer above the fold, the discount code shown twice, and trust points (fast shipping, guaranteed delivery, rewards) at the final step
The results
In five days the flow generated CA$5,430 from 18 orders at an average of CA$301.64, or CA$5.48 per recipient. This was on top of the campaign revenue, with no extra traffic and no deeper discount.
