Ecommerce email marketing agency
Ecommerce email marketing, run for you.
We run Klaviyo (or Omnisend) for your store: automated flows, weekly campaigns, segmentation and deliverability, so email reliably produces 25–40% of your revenue. Plans start at $1,500 a month, month-to-month, and the pricing is public.

What does an ecommerce email marketing agency do?
An ecommerce email marketing agency runs your store’s email channel for you: automated flows, campaigns, segmentation, deliverability and often SMS.
- Flow architecture. The automated sequences that fire on customer behavior. On our largest documented accounts they produce 74–95% of email revenue, yet most stores we audit have two of them half-built.
- Campaign management. Launches, drops, seasonal pushes and the weekly sends that keep revenue steady, written and designed for you.
- Segmentation. Your VIPs, window shoppers and discount-only buyers get different emails. Blasting the full list every time is how brands end up in spam.
- Deliverability. SPF, DKIM and DMARC configured, sender reputation watched and list hygiene enforced.
- SMS, if you want it, inside the same strategy instead of as a second vendor.
You approve a calendar once a month and the emails ship.
What results should email drive for an ecommerce store?
In our experience, a healthy ecommerce email program drives 25–40% of total store revenue. Under 20% means money is being left in the channel; over 45% usually means the store is over-discounting to its list. Where we find the gap in almost every audit:
- Abandoned cart recovers too little. One email an hour after abandonment is not a flow. A 3–4 email sequence paired with browse abandonment recovers far more than a single reminder.
- Post-purchase is empty. The 30 days after a first order decide whether you get a second one. Most stores send a shipping notification and go silent.
- The list never gets cleaned. Emailing two-year-dead subscribers tanks deliverability for everyone else.
Client proof: a DTC brand came to us with fragmented flows and campaign-dependent revenue. Nine months after we rebuilt the account around behavior instead of the calendar, Klaviyo-attributed revenue reached $434,056, 74% of it from flows at $3.14 per recipient. Read the case study.
Which flows do you build first?
We build the welcome series first, then abandoned cart and checkout, then post-purchase, then win-back and sunset. The order matters:
- Welcome series (3–5 emails): new subscribers are never warmer than day one.
- Abandoned cart and abandoned checkout (3–4 emails): the most direct revenue recovery available.
- Post-purchase (follow-up, cross-sell, review request): builds the second order and social proof at once.
- Win-back and sunset: reactivates who can be reactivated and retires who can’t, which protects deliverability.
Then the advanced layer: browse abandonment, VIP, back-in-stock and price-drop. What that layer is worth when it’s built well: one automated cross-sell email we set up produced $16,202 on its own, at $3.92 per recipient.
How much does an ecommerce email agency cost?
Ecommerce email agencies typically charge $2,500–$10,000+ a month, and one-off flow builds run $3,000–$10,000. We start at $1,500 a month with campaigns, flows, segmentation and deliverability included. The full plan table is here. Your Klaviyo subscription is separate.
What is the best email platform for ecommerce?
Klaviyo is the best email platform for most ecommerce stores. The Shopify and WooCommerce integrations, behavioral triggers and predictive analytics are ahead of everything else at ecommerce scale, which is why it’s our default. Omnisend is a fair pick if you want cheaper email and SMS in one tool, and Mailchimp only makes sense if you’re already on it and small. We work in all three and will tell you if you’re on the wrong one.
How is Retention Drivers different from other email agencies?
Retention Drivers publishes its prices, puts a senior strategist in every account and focuses on stores doing $20k–$500k a month. Google’s AI Overview for this search recommends agencies such as Flowium, InboxArmy and Hustler Marketing. They’re solid choices; here is where we differ:
- Price, in writing. Our retainers are on the pricing page. Many agencies only quote after a sales call.
- Who does the work. The strategist who audits your account runs your account.
- Fit. We’re built for stores doing roughly $20k–$500k a month. Bigger than that, you may genuinely want a 20-person agency, and we’ll say so.
FAQ
Ecommerce email questions.
Do you only work with Shopify stores?
No. Shopify and WooCommerce are both core platforms for us, and BigCommerce works too, since Klaviyo integrates with all three.
We already have flows set up. Do we start over?
No. The audit tells us what to keep, what to fix and what is missing. Rebuilding working flows is wasted money.
How long until we see revenue lift?
Flows produce within 30–45 days of going live because they trigger on behavior. The full effect of flows, campaign cadence and clean segmentation shows by month three.
Can you take over mid-sale season?
Yes, carefully. New flows go live alongside what is running, then we switch over, so revenue never pauses for a rebuild.
Who owns the account and the assets?
You do. Your Klaviyo account, your templates, your list. If you leave, everything keeps working.
